Alden C. Purrington III (Chip)
Chip is an experienced entrepreneur and investment banker with 23 years of experience. His unique approach blends a mix of strategic planning, sales channel/partnership development and financial advisory services to facilitate private equity, debt financings, mergers and acquisitions. Chip utilizes his established network in New England, New York, Florida and California to successfully complete transactions for a breadth of fast growing companies with strong management teams from biotechnology and medical devices to telecommunications, to networking to computer hardware and service companies.
Chip's direct operating roles in product management, finance, strategy and business development have resulted in product innovation and new market development for established brands Ė Mattel Toys, The Walt Disney Company, Quaker Oats and the Stroh Brewery Company. As an entrepreneur, he built and sold a media and ecommerce company, Magnitude Network, to CMGi for $25MM. Chipís advisory services for emerging growth clients have resulted in tens of millions of dollars in raised capital, triple digit revenue growth, new market expansion, successful integration of acquisitions and client recognition in the Inc. 500 fastest growth companies.
Chip earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michiganís Ross School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bates College.

Israel M. Stein, M.D. (Izzy)
Dr. Israel "Izzy" Stein is an accomplished entrepreneur and public company senior executive in the fields of in-vitro diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, medical devices and scientific instrumentation. He has a strong record of delivering sales and profits, assembling winning teams, developing raw technologies for commercial use, cultivating new domestic and international markets and building strategic partnerships. He is now advising emerging companies on acquiring the resources and skills to accomplish similar success in the life sciences and technology fields.
Dr. Stein has 35 years of experience in hands-on management, M&A and in taking a company public. As Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO, Dr. Stein founded and grew a publicly-held diagnostics and pharmacogenomics company, Clinical Data, Inc., to 400 people and over $70 million in revenues. From its inception in 1972 until 2006, Dr. Stein acquired or divested over 10 companies both domestically and internationally.
Dr. Stein received a Doctor of Medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1968 and a Bachelor of Arts (Chemistry), Magna Cum Laude, from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York in 1964. Dr. Stein is a Jonas Salk Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He has authored over 36 scientific papers and abstracts and owns five patents.

Janak has over 9 years of international experience within product management, technology project implementation and business development domains with start-ups and large corporations under manufacturing, wireless telecom, e-Commerce and Healthcare verticals.
He is currently spearheading core healthcare informatics and financial re-engineering projects with Harvard University as their Project Manager focusing on outpatient pharmacy, digital imaging, electronic medical records integration and billing & insurance revenue cycle, in addition to other previous successes with them.
A former entrepreneur, co-founder of Synestesi Technologies, Inc, he raised $4M in from private equity. He continues being involved in various start-ups in the Boston and the Bay area. Prior to this venture, he served as a Product Manager with Schlumberger's flagship ORYXTM platform, managing Tier-1 CLEC and wireless contracts over $10M and successfully diversified his product portfolio to next generation Multimedia Messaging platform offerings with Verizon, PCSOne, SBC, Deutsche Telekom and British Telecom. Janak has also worked with CMGI - initiating and closing many co-branded contextual commerce partnerships, AT&T and D. S. Screens Ltd. over his career.
Janak has a B.Com degree from University of Bombay, MBA from Bentley College, holds many certifications for Systems Engineering and Network Management and is fluent is 8 languages.
